Really just demonstrates again how our so-called leaders and authorities do not care about people. Cancer spreads like flu in Iraq since the US, and Uk, illegal invasion. All for the profit of the few. What will be the consequences of the annihilation of Gaza for decades to come. The US military is the world’s biggest polluter - all for the greedy Epstein elites. And billions are likely to die because of the destruction of our environment. And yet there seems to be few governments or so-called leaders in the world that actually care, are doing anything about it, or actually even planning to do anything about it. In fact, for the most part it seems that they want to destroy the planet and kill millions, or billions, more just for their own greed and profit.

I worked with the families who lost loved ones on 9/11 to include those affected by the fallout of the rescue and cleanup missions. It is shocking how our government left these people in the dust. Branded as "heroes" and then just as quickly forgotten.

And the toxic dust generated by the hundreds of tonnes of bombs dropped on Palestinians have no health effects? If Palestinians are not killed by shrapnel, their life expectancy is likely to be 10 years? or 20 years? 9/11 is one horrific event on a compressed timescale while the israeli bombing machine goes on and on without any end.

This is terrible. That people’s health needs could be so ignored - for fiscal reason! - in one of the richest countries of the world is deeply shameful.

About halfway through reading, though, my thoughts turned compulsively to Gaza. I imagined rescuers in that place pulling survivors and extracting bodies from crumbling, contaminated ruins with NO protective gear, NO equipment, virtually no health care, and supplies forcibly constrained by their oppressor.

The horrors we humans wreak upon one another - and the heroism of many who selflessly face it and do their best to help. These things are truly, and sadly, universal.
