Well written piece. Very interesting and I largely agree. Perpetual war is a strategy for selling weapons and then there's the problem of housing the new state of the art weapons. Where do you put them? Where the old ones are?

Then you have to use the old ones first and then there's room for the new ones. The madness of it all is enormous. Why do we, the UK, suddenly need new nuclear weapons? I was rather hoping we still had the last ones. Did i miss something? Did we nuke someone? I thought the whole point is that you do not use them. So why do we need to kill people better than before? Especially as we could already kill people. Is it to kill more people or to kill the same amount of people but in a more sophisticated and costly way.

Sorry, but this world is so nuts.

We could make some out of some parts from the scrappy or out of anything and instead spend money on people. People? Yes people. We need properly funded public services and to kick the market out of places it should never have entered and has only destroyed. The rich act in a sort of cabal of immorality. They treat us like house flies.
