For an unpleasant moment, I was scared I was a stupid old lady getting scammed, so I video called this family without giving any warning and they were exactly as they described themselves. A family of 6, with a baby, living in a bombed-out apartment in Gaza.
At a rally in Perth yesterday an excellent speech was made by a wonderful woman from South Africa stressing the similarities between Israel's "POGROM" against Palestinians and the SA's apartheid system of racial brutality and ethnic cleansing. She insisted that the international efforts to democratise South Africa last Century were what is now needed to overcome the Zionist terror movement of Ben Gvir and like-minded Israelis. Sanctions and real diplomatic pressure are needed, she said. the crowd of protestors agreed.
Zionist plans of removing Palestinians have advanced rapidly and, “become legitimate. Suddenly, everyone became Ben-Gvir" as you quoted him Binoy. That is a chilling example of how far we have to go, way beyond Wong's "Deep concerns" and Albanese's pathetic anger over IDF war crimes being acceptable to Israel. Real action is what is needed and starting now.
