Indeed. However, we are living in extremely unhealthy times—both physically and psychologically. People are disconnected more than ever, whilst spending their every spare moment on a thing called "social media" (we have yet to address how antisocial it truly is) and in real life friends stop talking becuase of political disagreements. I fear people are not listening and just reacting. So it follows that a clearly sane call is regarded as its antithesis because of the spin cycle that many/most have allowed themselves to occupy.
How can any rational, moral person or State ignore this call?
