Thank you so much for this article. It gives me hope and clarity that I have gotten from no other source. I traveled to Venezuela when I was a college student and fell in love with the country. The architecture in Caracas was beautiful, although at the time I had no understanding of colonialism! Perhaps I would see it differently today. So happy to hear the spirit of Simon Bolivar is alive and well!

Manolo's inner knowledge of what has happened internally and hs (your) analysis are enlightening for my understanding of just where Venezuela's leadership stands, and what has been and is happening since January 3.

My main qualm is where China fits in. It was the major consumer of Venezuelan oil, and has, as far as I can ascertain, done nothing to challenge the US "right" to determine who can buy another's country's oil.

While Russia still tries to sell oil and weaponry to Cuba, China sends solar panels. OK, that is some help but why does China not retaliate somewhere, somehow against US aggressive actions intended to dominate the entire Western Hemisphere, and the MIddle East along with Zionist Fascist Israel? Why does China not sanction the US especially when prohibited from buying what countries want to sell to it? My answer will soon be an article showing how China is deeply in bed with US's own economy and political domination efforts.
