Rezgar's overall analysis is based on historical reality, and a largely accurate understanding of it. However, the article needs real copy editing with reduction of too much repetition, and a greater nuanced picture of the left-of center parties, which he paints myoptically.

Red/Green party (EL), for instance, has not been socialistic for two decades, ligning itself with the centerist Social Democrats and their wars with the US, as does the misnomer Socialist Peoples Party (SF). Neither party has put forth a vision or plans for a socialist economy nor do they offer any sympathetic understanding of the necessity for Russia to defend its very sovereignty against ever-encroaching NATO, which now has six countries of the 14 bordering Russia, with the intent of making Ukraine number seven.

EL even proposed the new law making girls subject to the draft instead of proposing an end to the draft entirely. Those entering the military for the last four decades have been at the mercy of all of Big Daddy's USA's many wars and sporadic bombings, and now even supporting genocide againt Palestinians, many of whom are refugees/immigrants to Denmark/Scandinavia, plus wanton destruction of Iran.

The so-called left does nothing to support Venezuela and Cuba against the European leaderships' backing of USA's DonMonroe domineering doctrine, which is ridding the world of the very charter of the United Nations.

Ron Ridenour, 7-decades long anti-war and equality activist, author of 13 books and thousands of articles, has lived in Denmark for 36 years since 1980. He worked for peace, equality and workers rights in Central America, sometimes with union leaders Anker Jørgensen, who was the last real Social Democrat prime minister, who placed workers rights and power above the capitalist elite, which is where the SD are today.
